Two people were injured in a crash Monday night on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville.
It happened about 8:15 p.m., with a collision report from Hopkinsville police saying 69-year old Richard Gauthier of Pembroke was facing westbound at the stop sign on Elmo Road and then attempted to turn left onto Fort Campbell Boulevard, driving into the path of a northbound car operated by 42-year old Lizbeth Campbell of Hopkinsville.
Campbell swerved, but could not avoid a collision and her car then crossed the southbound lanes and went into a field.
Campbell was taken by private vehicle to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for multiple non-life-threatening injuries and Gauthier went by EMS to Jennie Stuart for a possible broken collar bone.
