Hopkinsville police are investigating the death of a man at a North McPherson Avenue home from Saturday night as murder.
Christian County Deputy Coroner Christy Adams identified the victim as 31-year old John Michael Kellems of Beaver Dam.
Officers were called to a house in the 100 block of North McPherson about 9:20 p.m. after a woman came home and found a person she believed to be deceased.
The incident report from HPD says a knife or other cutting instrument was used to kill Kellems.
No suspects are named on the report and anyone with information on the murder should call 270-890-1300.
