A candidate for Hopkinsville City Council in Ward 12 has withdrawn from the race.
The Christian County Clerk’s Office says Republican Elizabeth Draude will still appear on the ballot, but votes for her will not be counted. There will also be signs at polling locations saying Draude has withdrawn.
Incumbent Democrat Phillip Brooks is opposed by the remaining Republican, Matthew Handy.
