Unemployment fell slightly from December to January in Kentucky.
Kentucky’s seasonally adjusted preliminary January unemployment rate was 4.4 percent, which was down two tenths of a point from the 4.6 percent reported in December and down four tenths from the 4.8 percent recorded for the state one year ago.
The U.S. jobless rate for January was 4 percent, up from the 3.9 percent reported in December, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
