The KY Senate has passed it’s version of the two-year state budget.
Among other things, the budget includes pay raises for state workers and an increase in K-12 education funding.
It also calls for reviews of the state fairgrounds and parks system.
The proposed budget passed through the full Senate on a vote of 30-6.
A conference committee will be formed to iron out the differences between the House and Senate budgets.
