The Federal Emergency Management Agency is hiring workers to assist with Kentucky’s recovery from deadly tornadoes in December.
The temporary positions would be located in Mayfield, Hopkinsville, Frankfort, and surrounding areas. FEMA is looking for qualified people in the areas of logistics, hazard mitigation, operations, public assistance, external affairs, community planning, and information technology.
Each work session would last for 120 days and could be extended in 120 day increments for a maximum of 365 days. Applications will be taken at usajobs.gov through March 14 or when 200 applications are received.
