Local library hosting Women’s History Month scavenger hunt

The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library is hosting a month-long family scavenger hunt in honor of Women’s History Month.

It continues through the end of the month and is open to participants of all ages and they can work as a team or participate individually.

There are two categories to earn points. Participants take a selfie with their heroine and/or answer trivia questions about women, that were either born or settled in Christian County.

Each photo and/or correct trivia question earns you points toward prizes. Participants can choose to do one or both parts of the scavenger hunt.

James Overton, Adult Services Librarian is quoted in a news release as saying, “I don’t think the everyday heroines get the appreciation that they have earned. This scavenger hunt is the perfect opportunity to give them positive affirmation.”

Family Scavenger Hunt Information & Clue Packets can be picked up at the front desk of the library.
