Major League Baseball may be cancelling another week of the season if the owners and the players can’t reach a collective bargaining agreement today. The two sides plan to meet today after continuing discussions on Monday. The Athletic reports that if no agreement is reached, the league plans to cancel another week of regular season games and may even officially shorten the typical 162-game season for 2022.

NFL

After nine seasons spent in the NFL, Indianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle is announcing his retirement. Doyle was undrafted out of Western Kentucky before landing with the Tennessee Titans and eventually the Colts in 2013. The 31-year-old finishes his career with 295 receptions for 2,729 yards and 24 touchdowns. Doyle was also selected to the Pro Bowl twice.

NBA

Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies return to action tonight at Fed Ex Forum hosting the New Orleans Pelicans.

NHL

The Nashville Predators are on the ice tonight hosting the Dallas Stars. First puck drops at 7 in Bridgestone Arena.
