Hopkinsville’s Jamarion Sharp has been named Conference USA’s Player of the Week. The Western Kentucky standout averaged 12 points, 11.5 rebounds and six blocks in WKU’s two wins over Marshall. Not only did Sharp win this week’s CUSA Player of the Week award, he was also named Conference USA’s Defensive Player of the Year. WKU returns to action Thursday night in the Conference USA tournament in Frisco, TX.
