Motorists who typically travel KY 81 in Muhlenberg County between KY 175 and the McLean County line will need to seek an alternate route on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Officials says the closure is necessary for an emergency cross drain repair. The work will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday and remain closed through 4:30 p.m. The road will be closed again on Wednesday, March 9 at 8:00 a.m. and will reopen at 4:30 p.m.
Local residents will be able to access their homes while this effort is being addressed.
