You may be done with winter, but winter isn’t done with you if you live in western Kentucky, as colder air and a chance for light snow will return to the area at the end of the week.
Meteorologist Sean Poulos with the National Weather Service in Paducah said during a conference call Monday morning that there will be a chance for rain showers Tuesday night and then a warm-up until temperatures plummet again Friday night.
Temperatures will be in the lower 20’s Friday night and while accumulating snow will be more likely to our north and west, Poulos says there’s a chance the entire region could see some of the white stuff.
Whatever falls won’t last long, as highs will be near 40 Saturday, over 50 Sunday and perhaps close to 60 early next week.
