Hopkinsville’s League of Women Voters will again host candidate forums this spring in advance of the May primary election.
All of the details are still being worked out, but Publicity Chair Donna Johnson says the forums will be in late March and early April.
She says the league has extended offers to all primary candidates and is awaiting individual responses.
This year’s questions are being developed by a small committee of members. Questions will be delivered to moderators at the time of each candidate’s forum. Johnson says candidates should expect general questions regarding their interest in running for their particular office.
Dates, times and locations have not been announced—though the last several forums have been at the downtown Hopkinsville Municipal Center, where the forums can be livestreamed, televised and archived.
