ESPN reports a source as saying Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has received an offer from the team that would alter the quarterback market. Rodgers is weighing his options but is supposed to make a decision about his future very soon.

CBS Sports.com reports free agent first baseman Freddie Freeman is being linked to the Tampa Bay Rays. It’s reported the Rays made Freeman an offer before the lockout began December 2nd. Freeman has spent his entire big league career with the Atlanta Braves.

Princeton’s Emma Talley will be in the field for the LPGA Tour’s Honda LPGA Thailand tournament that begins later this week. Talley finished tied for 43rd at the HSBC Women’s World Championship that concluded Sunday in Singapore.
