Murray State advanced to tonight’s championship game with a 88-74 win over Southeast Missouri in semifinal action. The 21st ranked Racers improved to 29-2 overall and remain undefeated in Ohio Valley Conference play at 19-0. Murray State will play Morehead State who edged Belmont 53-51 in the other semifinal game. Tipoff is at 7 this evening at the Ford Center in Evansville.
On the women’s side: Both Murray State and Austin Peay lost in semifinal action Friday. The Racers fell to Tennessee Tech 68-62 and the Governors fell to top seed Belmont 63-51. Tennessee Tech meets Belmont in the championship game this afternoon.
