Murray State and Austin Peay’s women were both winners in Thursday’s quarterfinal games. Austin Peay defeated Tennessee State 67-53 and will meet top seed Belmont a 1 pm this afternoon.Murray State was a 84-76 victor over SIU Edwardsville and faces Tennessee Tech at 3:30 this afternoon.
Men’s semifinal action takes place this evening with top seed Murray State facing Southeast Missouri for the second time in a week after SEMO defeated Tennessee State 79-55 Thursday. Tipoff is at 7 pm. The nightcap will feature Belmont against Morehead State. The Eagles downed Tennessee Tech 73-56 Thursday. Tipoff is at 9:30.
