One person was injured in a rear-end collision Wednesday night on East 21st Street in Hopkinsville.
The collision report from HPD says 32-year old Martin Pascual of Hopkinsville was southbound on East 21st and didn’t see that a vehicle in front of him driven by 60-year old James Genco of Hopkinsville was stopped and waiting for traffic to pass to make a left turn into a parking lot.
Pascual rear-ended Genco and Genco’s passenger, 87-year old Jimmie Genco of Hopkinsville, was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of head pain.
Both drivers declined a trip to the hospital, according to the report, which says Pascual was cited into court for not having a driver’s license or insurance.
