A Madisonville man has been arrested for alleged rape of a child and the victim’s mother has been arrested for allegedly allowing him to do it.
Madisonville police charged 31-year old Joshua Looney of Madisonville with first-degree rape for alleged sexual intercourse with a victim under the age of 12.
The victim’s 28-year old mother is charged with first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, with a news release saying she knew about Looney’s alleged actions against the child over the period of several months and did nothing to stop it.
