Positivity rate drops below 10 percent in Ky.

The COVID-19 positivity rate dropped to below 10 percent Friday, as Kentucky added 2,202 new cases from Thursday and Friday.

According to the update, there were also 38 newly reported deaths, bringing the death toll since the pandemic began up to 13,758. The positivity rate dropped to 9.85 percent, down into the single digits for the first time in months.

Christian County is once again ‘orange’ on the COVID-19 state incidence rate map, while Todd County remains in the ‘yellow’ and Trigg county stayed in the ‘red’.
