A Dawson Springs man was injured in a crash on Dawson Road in Caldwell County Friday morning.
According to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to the 16000 block of Dawson Road for reports of an accident. Investigation determined 42-year-old Anthony Petrakis of Dawson Springs had swerved to avoid hitting an animal and lost control of the vehicle, leaving the roadway and striking a concrete embankment.
He was transported to a hospital in Madisonville, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
