Major League Baseball and the Players Association are continuing their efforts to end the league’s lockout. ESPN reports the sides met again Tuesday in what was another failed attempt to come to terms on a new collective bargaining agreement. The players union made changes to its demands for two-year arbitration, but requested an increase in minimum salary. That was viewed by the MLB as a step backwards in talks. The sides are reportedly slated to meet every day until February 28th. That was the deadline to avoid moving Opening Day, which is scheduled for March 31st.
