The COVID-19 positivity rate in Kentucky plummeted over a percentage point from Tuesday to Wednesday, and there were 2,689 new cases.
According to the update, there were also 25 newly reported deaths, bringing the death toll up to 13,689 since the pandemic began. The positivity rate was down to 10.80 percent, down from 12.18 percent from the day before.
Todd County has dropped all the way into the ‘yellow’ on the COVID-19 state incidence rate map, with Logan, Caldwell and Calloway counties dropping into the ‘orange’. Christian, Trigg and Hopkins County still remain ‘red’ on the map.
