Ky. adds 3,300 COVID cases, 17 deaths

There were 3,300 new COVID-19 cases reported in Kentucky from Monday to Tuesday, as the positivity rate continues to fall.

According to the update, the positivity rate is down to 12.18 percent, down from 12.74 the day before. There were 17 newly reported deaths, putting the death toll in the Commonwealth since the pandemic began at 13,664.

There are currently 1,384 individuals in the hospital with COVID-19, 260 in the ICU and 138 on a ventilator.
