Two hurt in Princeton collision

The Princeton Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle collision that sent two people to a local hospital for treatment of possible injuries.

According to a news release, the collision occurred at the Marion Road overpass of Interstate 69 around 6:30 p.m. when a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Noah Bartley of Cloverport was traveling north on interstate 69 and took the off ramp at Marion Road. He reportedly failed to stop at the stop sign and was struck by a vehicle operated by 41-year-old Sara Choate of Princeton.

Choate and a passenger in her vehicle, 17-year-old Karishma Durbin of Irvington, were taken to a local hospital with possible injuries.

Bartley reportedly told officers that he took a wrong turn and thought he was merging onto another interstate and did not see the stop sign.
