The Clarksville Police Department is investigating two shootings, one as a homicide after a person who went to the hospital with gunshot wounds died Thursday morning.
According to a news release, officers responded to Manning Drive for reports of a person shot and upon arrival, found the victim laying on the ground. The male victim was transported to a local hospital, where he would later die of his injuries. The name of the victim has not been released.
A second shooting had taken place just before the Manning Drive incident on Wallace Boulevard, but it is not known if the two were related at this time. There were no injuries in the Wallace Boulevard shooting.
