The Tigers built a 10 point halftime lead and downed the Colonels 60-45. Daisjuan Mercer had a game high 29 points to lead Hopkinsville, now 17-6 and finished district play 6-0. The Colonels got 11 points each from Jordan Miles, Breland Morrison and Derrell Bateman in falling to 8-20 and 3-2 in district play.
The Lady Tigers defeated the Lady Colonels 69-59. Hopkinsville was led in scoring by Kahtavia Fleming with 20 points with Faith Dansbury adding 17 in improving to 12-11 and concluding district play 6-0. Christian County got 13 points from Mikayah Killebrew and 12 each from Destinee Catlett-Watkins and Sarah Harris in falling to 10-16 and 3-2 in district action.
