Local woman injured in South Virginia St. crash

A rear-end collision Thursday afternoon on South Virginia Street injured a Hopkinsville woman.

It happened about 3:30 p.m. and a collision report from Hopkinsville police says 62-year old Micahel Brody of Hopkinsville was stopped and waiting to make a turn onto East 20th Street when he was rear-ended by a northbound car driven by 55-year old Tamme Mingle of Hopkinsville.

Brody’s passenger, 65-year old Lula Mason of Hopkinsville, was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for neck pain.

Mingle reported multiple injuries, but refused a trip to the hospital.
