Actor and musician Billy Bob Thornton will take the stage at the Alhambra Theatre during Hoptown Hopfest, set for June 4.
According to a news release, Thornton will perform with his band The Box Masters as part of the 8th annual Hoptown Hopfest fundraiser, a concert benefiting the historic theater. The Boxmasters are a California-based band influenced heavily by 60s rock bands like The Beatles, the Byrds, and the Beach Boys.
The Hopfest usually takes place around the Thanskgiving holiday, but it was rescheduled to June for to accommodate the theater’s upcoming renovation schedule.
