Two Tiger Football Players Sign With Murray State

Hopkinsville High School hosted a signing ceremony Thursday afternoon for two former Tiger football players. Treyvon Jefferson and Emmanuel Cheatham signed their letters of intent with Murray State University. Jefferson threw for over 1600 yards and 15 touchdowns his senior season. He rushed for over 300 yards and 7 touchdowns. Jefferson may play at wide receiver or defensive end for the Racers. Jefferson talks about his college choice….

Emmanuel Cheatham played on both sides of the ball for the Tigers. He rushed for 305 yards and caught 22 passes for 333 yards. He scored a total of 6 touchdowns on the season. On defense he had 46 tackles and 2 interceptions his senior season. Cheatham talks about his college choice….

The Tigers lost in the 2nd round of the 4A playoffs to Logan Co. and finished the season at 7 and 5.
