Fire caused major severe damage to a Hopper Court home Thursday morning.
Speaking WHOP News on the scene, Hopkinsville Fire Department Lt. Payton Rogers says firefighters from four stations were called to 1815 Hopper about 11:30 and found heavy smoke and flames coming from the two-story structure. They had been told someone could be inside, so began recovery efforts immediately, but it was determined that no one was home and no one was injured.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, but the building is a total loss, with smoke and fire damage throughout.
