Boys: University Heights led by as many as 19 points in the second half and defeated Heritage Christian 66-54. The Blazers had a very balanced scoring attack led by Lemar Northington and Gavin Grubbs each with nine points in improving to 8-11. The Warriors were led by Carlos Robles with 18 points and Zane Yates with 10 in falling to 7-7 against KHSAA schools.
Girls: University Heights rolled out to a 13-4 lead at the end of the first quarter and downed Heritage Christian 51-29. Alecia Davis scored 20 points with Amaryiah Bass adding 15 as the Lady Blazers improved to 4015. Kate St. Martin and Rachel Robson each had eight points as the Lady Warriors went to 1-6 against KHSAA schools.
