Following one season at the helm, Ricky Gehres announced his resignation this afternoon as Christian County football coach. In a letter to Colonels athletic director Trey Wheeler, Gehres announced his resignation due to family circumstances and was returning to central Kentucky. Gehres came to the Colonels last spring from Campbellsville University where he had most recently served as offensive coordinator. The school will begin a search for Gehres replacement immediately.
