Kentucky coach John Calipari issued a statement on social media today indicating freshman Shaedon Sharp will not play for the Wildcats this season. There had been recent speculation he would play this season, but Calipari added in the statement that Sharp is committed to bettering himself and the team in practice and being better prepared to lead Kentucky next season.
