Murray State extended its winning streak to 11 games as the Racers downed Austin Peay 65-53 in Clarksville. Tevin Brown had 17 points to lead Murray State, now 21-2 overall and 12-0 in the OVC. Drew Calderon scored 15 points to lead the Governors, now 7-12 overall. Murray State hosts SIU Edwardsville tomorrow night at 7 in the CFSB Center while Austin Peay visits Morehead State in a 3 pm game Saturday.
Austin Peay held off Murray State 69-67 in overtime. The Lady Governors improved to 14-6 with the win and play at Morehead State tomorrow afternoon while Murray State fell to 15-7 and host SIU Edwardsville at 5 pm tomorrow.
