College Football

After interviewing with the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings Wednesday, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh announced he will coach the Wolverines in the 2022 season. This comes after Harbaugh led Michigan to a 12-and-2 record, a Big Ten championship and a College Football Playoff appearance after being unranked to begin the 2021 season.

NFL

Former Miami Dolphins coach Brian Flores says his lawsuit against the NFL will continue even if he’s hired by another team. He has interviewed with the Houston Texans and New Orleans Saints, who have yet to fill their coaching vacancies. The lawsuit is over alleged racist hiring practices in the league. It’s seeking unspecified damages from the league, the Miami Dolphins, the Denver Broncos and the New York Giants, along with unidentified individuals.

NBA

Ja Morant had a near double-double of 23 points and nine assists last night as the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the New York Knicks 120-108 at Madison Square Garden. The Grizzlies return to action Saturday afternoon at the Orlando Magic.

Golf

The PGA Tour continues the California swing at the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am beginning today. Will Zalatoris has withdrawn from the tournament after he tested positive for COVID. Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker is in this week’s field.
