Davion Mintz had a season high 21 points as fifth ranked Kentucky held off Vanderbilt last night 77-70 in Rupp Arena. UK twice led the game by 10 in the second half but Vanderbilt stormed back on each occasion. Oscar Tshiebwe had 17 points and 11 rebounds as the Cats improved to 18-4/7-2 in the SEC while the Commodores-led by Scotty Pippen Jr’s 33 points fell to 11-10/3-6 in the SEC. Kentucky returns to action Saturday at Alabama with pregame at 5:30 on Lite Rock 98.7 while Vanderbilt hosts 25th ranked LSU on Saturday.
