Alabama defensive coordinator Pete Golding was arrested and charged with driving under the influence early this morning. ESPN reports the arrest was made by Northport, AL police. Golding has been on Nick Saban’s staff since 2018 and was named defensive coordinator in 2019. School officials say they are aware of the incident and are gathering information.

Denver Broncos director of football operations John Elway released a statement today calling the class action lawsuit filed by former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores “false and defamatory.” The suit filed by Flores earlier this week is against the NFL, the Broncos, the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins concerns hiring practices.
Meanwhile, despite the lawsuit filed by Flores, he’s one of the top three candidates for the Houston Texans coaching vacancy.
