Black Violin takes the stage at the Alhambra Friday

The Alhambra Theatre will be filled with sounds of violins Friday night, as the musical group Black Violin takes the stage at 7 p.m.

Pennyroyal Arts Council Executive Director Margaret Prim appeared on WHOP Thursday and says they’re excited to have such talented violinists and other instrumentalists putting on a show that everyone can enjoy.

She says they’ve done a lot of work behind the scenes to make this show spectacular.

Prim says tickets are still available online, and they will have some at the door, but show has sold very well so they’re going fast—the doors open at 6 p.m., with food trucks on site.

This show is made possible thanks to a grant from South Arts. Black Violin is led by classically trained string players Wil B. and Kev Marcus.
