The Christian County Health Department is reporting four new COVID-19 deaths, along 1,141 cases reported in the last week.
According to a news release, the victims are described as an 87-year-old female who was partially vaccinated, a 79-year-old female and a 79-year-old male, both of whom were not vaccinated, and a 90-year-old female who was unvaccinated. Three of the four deaths come after review by the Mortality Review Board. They bring Christian County’s death toll to 173.
The new 1,141 cases put the overall total locally since the pandemic began at 15,995—of that, 1,751 are considered active and 14,070 people have recovered from the virus.
