The filing deadline for those who would seek political office in a partisan race has come and gone as of Tuesday afternoon, at least for now.
There was a new filing for Christian County Constable in District 3, and that was Thomas Gilliland III, who filed as a democrat.
There will be multiple primaries in May before the general election in November. Much remains unclear about if a new filing deadline will set by the Kentucky General Assembly due to legal battles about redistricting maps.
