Boys: Hopkinsville rallied from a seven point halftime deficit and defeated Christian County 61-56. The Tigers got 13 points from Daisjuan Mercer to lead the scoring with Bubba Leavell adding 11 and KC Cabiness had 10 second half points as Hopkinsville won its seventh straight game in improving to 11-4 overall and 1-0 in district play. Christian County got 17 points from Derrell Bateman and 16 from Jordan Miles in falling to 4-14 and 1-1 in district action. The Colonels lost their ninth game in a row.
Girls: HHopkinsville and Christian County shot 99 free throws in a 73-65 victory for the Lady Tigers. Hopkinsville was led in scoring by Jachia Pendleton with 21 points with Donisha Flowers scoring 17 and Shiyah Forte added 14 as the Lady Tigers improved to 3-9 and 1-0 in the district. Christian County was led in scoring by Mikiyah Killebrew with 14 points with Shaniah Bridges and Neveah Day adding 13 as the Lady Colonels fell to 5-11 overall and 1-1 in district play.
