Murray State got a doubleheader sweep Monday at Eastern Illinois. The Racer men downed the Panthers 72-46 behind five three pointers from Tevin Brown, who scored 19 points. Brown passed Isaiah Cannan to move into second place in Racer history with 305 three pointers made. The Racers improved to 15-2 and 5-0 in the Ohio Valley Conference and host the Panthers Thursday night.
The Racer women made it a clean sweep with a 80-71 victory over EIU. The Racers are now 12-5 overall and 4-2 in the OVC and welcome Eastern Illinois at 5 pm Thursday.
Austin Peay’s women were a 76-55 winner over SIU Edwardsville. The Governors are now 11-5 overall and 4-2 in the OVC and entertain UT Martin at 5:30 Thursday in the Dunn Center.
