Masters chairman Fred Ridley announced today Tom Watson will join Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player as the honorary starters for the 2022 event. Watson-who replaces Lee Elder who passed away following last year’s event-was a two time winner in 1977 and 1981 and finished runner up three times. The Masters takes place April 7-10 at Augusta National Golf Club.
