Unemployment fell October to November in all nine Pennyrile counties and is down from one year ago in all 120 Kentucky counties.
Christian County’s November jobless rate was 3.6 percent, down from 4.5 percent in October and from 5.6 percent one year ago.
Todd County was tied for the second-lowest unemployment rate in Kentucky at 2.3 percent, down from 3 percent the previous month and from 3.3 percent in November of last year.
In Trigg County, the jobless rate was 3.1 percent, down eight-tenths of a point from the previous month and down from 5.3 percent one year ago.
Muhlenberg County still has the region’s highest jobless rate at 4.4 percent.
