Kentucky’s Citrus Bowl win earns assistant coaches raises for 2022

The 22nd ranked Kentucky Wildcats finished their season with a dramatic 20-17 win over 15th ranked Iowa in the Citrus Bowl Saturday in Orlando. Kentucky has now won the Citrus Bowl twice in the last four years and has won four straight bowl games as they finish the season 10-3.

UK coach Mark Stoops also picked up a $250-thousand bonus for the 10th win of the season and two assistant coaches also are receiving significant raises. Kentucky Sports Radio reports offensive coordinator Liam Coen and defensive coordinator Brad White will see increases in their salaries for 2022. Coen will make $1.1 million while White will make $1.4 million with each receiving a $100-thousand raise per season moving forward.
