Christian County PVA Angie Strader filed to run for re-election Monday and several candidates filed for Hopkinsville City Council.
Strader, a Democrat, was first elected in 2010 and is seeking a fourth term. She is currently unopposed.
Veteran Ward 12 City Councilman Phillip Brooks filed for re-election and the Democrat is opposed by Republican Elizabeth Draude.
In Ward 7, Democrat William Coleman has filed and will face Republican Mark Graham.
Republican Anna Norris has filed in Ward 5 and will face incumbent Amy Craig in a GOP primary.
