Christian, Todd, Trigg and surrounding western Kentucky counties have been placed on a flood watch by the National Weather Service in Paducah from Friday afternoon until Saturday afternoon, and the area could see up to four inches of rain.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and the usual low-lying areas. Remember to never drive through flood waters—turn around, don’t drown.
Those same areas are also in a ‘slight risk’ area for severe storms through the night. Stay tuned to the WHOP Family of Stations for any potential watches or warnings that may develop.
