HPD investigating Glass Avenue stabbing incident

The Hopkinsville Police Department has arrested a Hopkinsville woman in connection with the early Wednesday morning stabbing incident that occurred on Glass Avenue.

According to the police reported, 23-year old Diana Ceja of Hopkinsville is facing a second-degree assault, domestic violence charged, after she allegedly stabbed Jacorion Murray multiple times with what is described as a large knife at the New Horizon Scholar Homes on Glass Avenue.

Murray was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment, while Ceja was treated for her own stab wounds by EMS at the scene.  The investigation is ongoing.
