Hopkinsville opened play in the City of Middletown Classic and fell 83-70 to host Eastern. Daisjuan Mercer and KC Cabiness each had 21 points with Bubba Leavell adding 14. The Tigers hit only one three point shot in the game. Hopkinsville is now 4-4 on the season and faces DeSales this afternoon.
