The Hopkinsville Beautification Commission has announced the winners of their annual holiday decorating contest.
Starting in Ward 1, the winners were Richard and Carolsue Daigre on East Seventh Street, Ward 2 winners were a home on Hilltop Drive and the winners in Ward 3 are Donald and Dorothy Burrus on Sanderson Drive. In Ward 4, the top spot was claimed by Velma Crawford on Bluebird Count, while in Ward 5 the winner is a home on Ivy Lynn Court and the winner in Ward 6 is Jimmie Genco on Gale Lane.
Ward 7 was won by a residence on Martin Place, Ward 8’s prize went to Jenny and Bob on Sheridan Circle and the winners for Ward 9 are Melody Joseph and Damon Williamson on South Virginia Street.
In Ward 10, was won by a home on Main Street, the Utley’s on Chippewa Drive won Ward 11 and the winner in Ward 12 is Billy Tomlinson on South Virginia Street.
In the Business Division, the prize was claimed by the Main Street Tavern.
