The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian collision that sent the female victim to a Nashville hospital Sunday evening.
According to a news release, the collision occurred on Trenton Road between Needmore Road and the 101st Airborne Division Parkway around 8:30 p.m. Preliminary investigation determined that a female victim was walking in the continuous left turn lane on Trenton Road, where she was struck by a motorist.
She was flown by helicopter to a Nashville hospital, where her condition is unknown.
Trenton Road was shut down for sometime while reconstructionists investigated the scene, and the investigation continues.
